To apply for the Boulos Family Scholarship,
please fill out and submit the form below with a college official.


To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Have served in Iraq or Afghanistan in the post-September 11, 2001 conflicts;

• Be currently serving in the U.S. Military, the National Guard, or Reserves, or have been honorably discharged;

• Have been a Maine resident prior to serving in either conflict;

• Be enrolled or accepted in a credit course or program at a regionally accredited Maine higher education institution; and

• Show proof of military service (DD-214 or other official military documentation).

Request for Non-Disclosure of Directory Information

The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects the privacy of your education records by restricting how and to whom the educational institution maintaining the records can disclose them. Under FERPA, the Maine Community College System (MCCS) may release “directory information” about you at any time to include: name, address, date of birth, scholarship award, college attending, major field of study, expected graduation date, credential or degree and other honors and awards received. However, under the law, you have a right to prevent the MCCS from disclosing your directory information. If you do not wish this information disclosed, please check the box below. Please note that if you check the box, no information will be released about you ­ not to family, prospective employers, friends, or in press releases listing you as a Boulos Family Scholarship recipient.
